So the weekend over, and there was certainly something for themselves. The plan was that we would go on Stockhausen concert on Friday, but fortunately made it happen to change tickets (because I was not arriving in Stavanger before at 18, and the first concert began at 17) so that it was an evening with Karlheinz on Saturday instead. vacuum (Friday went by to go on Cementen (and neighboring premises) (having front with lots of red wine while we went through Linn vinyl collection, vacuum so it was both Diamanda Galas, Einstürzende Neubauten and The The with much more) and try to dance to reggae , which of course is completely hopeless, since reggae goes too slowly) On Saturday made Sven first her small legendary cod straight vacuum (at least hereafter), which consists of: Cod Fillet Tika Masala Spice Mix Crème Fraiche Vegetables (onions, broccoli and carrots) Rice When dinner was consumed, we had half an hour for us to get down to the venue where Stockhausen would proffer "Mittwoch-gruss" and "Hymn". And just as it is said: It was very, very good. KS was a big grown, seemingly a bit shy man, who first told us a bit about the pieces he would play until he asked us to close our eyes "Because there's nothing to see". Then he sat at the mixing desk, turned off the lights and drove in time losses. And it came sound from all sides. (Here are no long, pretentious Thesis where I try to explain how the music sounded. There I entrust to the reviewer in Stavanger Aftenblad (I read the review of Friday concert, which unfortunately is not posted online, but it was in each fall on the verge of being involuntarily funny) Good and hearty, I ended up falling asleep a couple of times (at least under "Mittwoch-gruss", which was very comfortable ... "Hymn", which consisted of the sound of screwing on shortwave radio and chopped national anthems, were slightly increased yield but I dozed off a few times when too), but I was not alone. And it was okay. I got at least a lot out of this. I have thought about it afterwards: Why should there may be something wrong in falling asleep during a concert? It does not mean that the music is boring. Stockhausen was certainly far from it. (sky and sea, now I got real flashback back to the "a walk in the woods" styles within I used to write in elementary school)
