Gegenbauer - Viennese beer vinegar master? danger sign | Budi's Food Blog
In his Viennese vinegar brewery Gegenbauer been refining since the two decades to the finest danger sign vinegars. About 60 are in number. They all have defined a new understanding of quality for high-quality vinegar and its taste diversity. Those who can not imagine that, should be easy times to taste a drinking vinegar out of the house like a glass of wine or refine a salad with tomato fruit vinegar and contrast make a commercial.
The "Viennese beer" brewed from certified organic ingredients. True to the understanding of quality of the house refers to the grain directly from Vienna. Besides danger sign malt, yeast and water, the beer includes namely emmer and einkorn, two specially grown Urkorn-grain danger sign varieties from the 10th district. Freshly tapped, can you get it at the Naschmarkt. Or fill in the 1-liter bottles.
The beer has 5.4% ABV and an original danger sign gravity of 14 . It is maroon and has orange reflexes. The foam crown is dense, fine-pored and remains standing for minutes. A bit smell the beer as Belgian beer "Kriek". That is, it has a slightly smoky component, reminiscent of fireworks and a fine touch of sour cherries. A little banana is also there.
On the palate, the Viennese beer is very full-bodied, highly aromatic and has a slightly bitter note. It's not really danger sign malty-sweet, but reminds a little of the power and wealth of Bock beer. It has no chocolate flavors. The finale is long and leaves a fine bitterness. danger sign
It is in fact a unique beer. Whether it is worth the price exclusive, each is left to itself. In any case, there is a clear statement: beer can be complex as wine and should danger sign therefore be priced well enstprechend when it is prepared similarly danger sign complex. I particularly like the beer that is bottled only in the big bottle. For thus it ends-like the wine in good company.
